A great logo gives you the opportunity differentiate yourself from your competitors. A logo is something people will see and if they recognise will straight away have preconceptions about your product or service. It needs to simply define your brand and be instantly recognisable. Definitely a very tricky thing when there is thousands of the other business logos out there which have been professionaly developed by a graphic design company.
I only though it would take me a few hours? I already had some thoughts of what my logo could look like so I had try on Photoshop but just coudn’t produce anything striking or original. All the logo I produced were cheesy and naff. I realised quite quickly that logo design is definitely a precise art and I was going to have to do a bit more research before I was going to have any luck.
There are a number of websites that sell tutorials for logo design however all the ones I tried were very disappointing and certainly not worth the money. The online tutorials I tried just did not provide enough information and certainly did not help with any creativity. I certainly would not recommend going down this road if you are in similar boat. I found many of them to be a bit of scam so just have your wits about you. It is always best to contact a proper graphic design sussex company to help you out.
I started researching into websites showing logo samples. There is some amazing brand logos out there which I thought could inspire me and help my creativity. It didnt! I finally decided to contact a professional logo designer to find out much this would cost and time scales. I was very impressed, very cheap and fast. A number of logo’s were produced for me to look at they were all fantastic, they looked unique and creative! For someone to design a logo with the correct message and style after only a brief meeting was very impressive. I was careful to select a reputable web design worthing company.
So unless you are a talented designer leave it to the professionals, trust me!
