This is of course the computer game that was created by Sid Meier in 2002 and was and still is the only game that let it’s players create and run a golf course and use a professional to play on (Good ol Gary Golfer). I had this game and I have to say that it was truly fantastic to play for a bit of fun, here are some of the things you could do with the game.
Building the courses up from nothing to everything was the best element. You start from scratch on the first hole creating a tee, fairway and of course a hole. You need to decide on how long the hole has to be and you create the hole to how you want. Players can make the courses really hard if they want too with numerous bunkers and water hazards dotted over the place. However the people that came to your course always needed to be happy to spend so you needed to make sure you were doing this.
Getting people on the course that sell drinks to players when they are playing is a good one here. Over time you can build the course up into a very big golf resort, these can consist of celebrity homes, airstrips and even casinos. The whole element of the game was once you had designed you had to ever tweak and maintain.
To make sure that the course was not being overgrown with things like weeds you had to hire people to sort it. I actually started to play it again the other day and although you will notice that the graphics look very bad indeed now it is still a very good game indeed.
So charge up those golf trolleys and those UPS batteries and start playing golf. Mobility scooter batteries can be used for this purpose too.
