File Transfer Protocol (FTP) this refers to the way files are most commonly transferred over the web. FTP has been in existence for as long as the internet.
IP Address your internet protocol (IP) address is the actual address for your net server. Your website’s IP address is made up of a series of numbers and it is these numbers that the search engine reads.
