You will also be told by many web hosts that they will give you your money back if you are unsatisfied after 30 days but trying to get the money back can be a pain unless your payment was made by credit card.
If you are looking for honest feedback on a certain web host then you should look at the reviews available. But you can fall foul here as well as many web hosts actually pay to have positive reviews written. These are usually easy to spot though because they are just so gushing in praise. Speaking to others that have experience with web hosts may be a better idea so you should join a forum to get a completely honest opinion. And for further confirmation of a web hosts claims, make sure you fully read the service agreement to ensure the claims are here too.
