When considering purchasing the Xerox Phaser 6115 Printer using Phaser 6115 toner cartridges, you really need to know exactly what youre sinking your money into. This model is not only a color laser printer. It offers a plethora of functionality and features for the price tag. With color faxing, color copying, scanning and even email capabilities, it may be just the machine you have been looking for.
The printing and copying speed is a little on the slow side, so if speed is what you need, then you may need to look elsewhere. But with all the other features this model offers, it may just offset the slow speed. This unit prints 5 pages per minute color, and 20 ppm black and white using Xerox Phaser toners. Another great thing about this printer is that is does print on a wide variety of media. Anything from plain paper, cards, and labels, to envelopes and transparencies. The maximum copy size for this unit is Legal, 8.5 inches x 14 inches.
Pricing on the Xerox Phaser 6115 Printer runs right around $520. You will also need to purchase the Phaser 6115 cartridges for this printer. It does take 4 toners, the Cyan, Magenta, and Blue for color, and a black Xerox printer toners for B/W. The cost of the laser printer toner cartridges runs anywhere from $50 – $55 a piece. Weighing in at 73 lbs and measuring 20.8 inches wide by 23 inches deep by 20.9 inches high, this is model is geared toward business use. It has a monthly duty cycle of up to 35000 impressions, so it is quite efficient. The unit also comes with a standard 1 yr warranty for service and support. All in all, if you can look past the slow speed of this printer, you really do seem to be getting a bargain with all the great features it has to offer.
